Diaphragms are connected to each other with a common shaft and they work by moving in reverse. One of the diaphragms moves by pushing with the help of compressed air. The other diaphragm connected to it by the shaft expels the residual air out. When the stroke is complete, the air valve automatically changes the direction of the compressed air and the same movements are repeated in the other direction. Continuous reciprocal movement provides suction and discharge movement to the fluid in each room, respectively. Suction and discharge ball valves regulate the flow of fluid from the inlet to the outlet of the chambers.
