FRIULAIR REFRIGERANT GAS DRYERS
FRIULAIR was established in 1989 in Gorizia, Italy and has a production area of 14000 m2. Quality, reliability, versatility and respect for the environment are the characteristics of all Friulair products. The wealth of experience found in company departments, and strict intermediate/final inspections carried out with the most advanced equipment, are the company’s distinguishing features.
Compressed air produced by compressors contains condensable relative humidity. In an environment where the air temperature is 20 ° C and the humidity is 70%, a 30 kW screw air compressor with a free air flow rate of 5 Nm3 / min at 1 bar absolute pressure sends about 60 liters of water to the air lines when it operates 16 hours a day.
This condensation formed in the compressed air lines causes damage to the air powered devices. FRIULAIR Refrigerated Gas Air Dryers are the perfect solution to prevent any failure due to condensation water. Through FRIULAIR , AMD and PLH series dryers, the Intelligent Condensate Discharge technology compatible with the environmental requirements of the European standards, ensures the removal of condensate water in the lines without loss of the produced compressed air.
How Does It Work?
Saturated compressed air during the suction process, is first cooled in the air exchanger with the help of dried cold air. The second cooling stage takes place inside the evaporator, where the air reaches the set condensing point. All condensate that is removed during the cooling phase is automatically processed and drained by a level sensor system. The compressed air is now dry enough and is suitable for industrial usage.
Refrigerated Gas Dryers; are Ideal for general purpose applications that do not require high quality compressed air, as their investment and maintenance costs are low. The efficiency of these devices vary depending on the design of the heat exchanger, the structure of the ecovat and the type of refrigerant.
1 micron and 0.01 micron pore diameter line filters are used at the inlet of the Gas Air Dryers. The purpose of the inlet filter is to protect the evaporator heat exchanger inside the device. The outlet lilter is used to provide the desired air quality.
The most important feature that distinguishes our gas type compressed air dryers from similar products on the market is that it operates smoothly, gives air output with a real + 3 ° C dew point and ensures savings due to very low energy consumption.
According to the ISO 8573-1 air quality standard, dryers with a dew point of + 3 ° C can be obtained with Class 4 quality (in terms of residual water vapor).
